Bharati Prajapati, eminent social worker from Pratham, presently working in forest department for tribal youth Pratibha Shakti, Vidarbha unit of Shakti, held the function at MLA Hostel Hall and conferred “Shakti Prerna Puraskar” on Dr. Sudha Anand Bhide, for her untiring efforts to support cancer patients at the hands of Chief Guest Hon’ble Judge (Rtd) Meera Khadakkar. Dr. Sudha Bhide has done her PhD in molecular biology and currently developed the “Bhide Protocol” for cancer patients. This is mainly dietary protocol due to which many have got a lease in their life. The success story is ongoing and many have benefitted from this protocol.
“iShakti Support”, a yearlong endowment was conferred upon Ms. Ankita Pradeep Shinde, a BA pass blind student. She also has done MS office and MSCIT in computer. She has been selected for international tournament in cricket and is the captain of Maharashtra team. She has realized her dream by participating in fashion shows also. On 22 March Shakti’s Foundation Day KNS had an informal meeting at Registered office with Vijnana Bharati’s National Organising Secretary Mananiya Sri Jayant J Sahasrabudhe Shakti Sthpna Divas was celebrated on 27 March 2019 at the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Ho Chi Minh Sarani, Kolkata. Dr Swapna Bhattacharya, noted educationist was the Chief Guest and Sri Goutam De, Regional Director, ICCR, was the Guest of Honour at the event. The Shakti Prerna Samman was conferred on Dr Kanchan Gaba, visually impaired lawyer and social worker who strives to transform social mindsets. The I-Shakti Puraskar was conferred on Harmehar Kaur Grewal, a 19 year old student who, despite being paralysed below the neck, has shown exemplary courage and discipline to forge ahead in her academic pursuits
