A six day training program, under the Khadi Village Industry Commission KVIC project KENTI ,for Rural Development was organised at Mahatma Gandhi Institute for Rural Industrialisation MGIRI Wardha.Shakti a pan India organisation for Women Empowerment through Science and Technology was instrumental in selecting the women participants from 8 states of India through its project Grampari in 26state units Assam, Manipur, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra were the states from where prospective entrepreneurs were selected after lot of scrutiny and dialogue. Shakti ensured their well being.
The training was on 11 Panchagavya based domestic products,their production,Phytochemical importance of herbal raw materials, Chemistry behind the interaction of ingredients,in process standardisation,efficacy results low and big scale production,Project proposal preparation,Loan formalities Marketing skills,Production value and profit margins all these points were included along with expert guidance and sharing of experiences of established enterprises
The exposure visit to running unit of these products at Govigyan Anusandhan kendra Devalapar was also planned.
The program was inaugurated by Mr Ashok Chavan and Mr Devendra Kumar Assistant Director Kvic Dr Sudha Tiwari National President Shakti,Mr Tapas Ranjankar Head of Office MGIRI. The Valedictory program was graced by Prerana Deshbhratar,Collector Wardha.
The participants were very much satisfied and motivated to start their own units. They required extension of “It was a class workshop, quality technicalities, knowledge par excellence. All participants from all units are happy ” was the feedback from participants.
Dr Jaykishor Chhangani and his team were the official instructors and took special care in organising this training program .The entire Shakti team and participants are thankful to their devotion and sincerity.
