iSHAKTI support is conferred every year at central and state level as well, to an under-privileged girl who has shown extraordinary merit in the field of education, sports or the finer arts. This year iShakti support at central level was extended to budding tennis player of our country Anushka Burdhan (Kolkata) in cash form as a part of her international training in the sport at Spain.
