Inauguration Ceremony

STREE 2022 was off to a good start. The EXPO was inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and the lighting of the lamp by esteemed guests including Dr. Shekhar C. Mande, Prof. Santishree D. Pandit, Dr. Tanuja Nesari, Dr. Gulshan Wadhwa, Dr. Naresh Aggrawal, Dr. Purnima Rupal, and Mrs. Harjinder Kaur Talwar.

STREE 2020 Expo

Mega expo of STREE 2020 was held from 24th to 26th November, 2022 in JNU convention center lawn.

Mantra Chanting Session

Following the inauguration, the Dhyan Foundation led a mantra chanting session. The dignitaries were then escorted to the stage for a brief inaugural session, where they were warmly welcomed with plant saplings. Dr. Gulshan Wadhwa, representing DBT, provided an overview of the DBT EXPO displayed at the STREE2020 stall.

Guest of Honour

Guest of honour Mrs. Harjinder Kaur Talwar, founder of Comvision. This mega expo was conducted by Shakti in association with JNU to promote science, technology along with indigenous knowledge and medicine among girls and women.

Educational Insights

The expo was both educational and informative, offering attendees valuable insights into science, technology, and the integration of modern and traditional medical practices. Based on the positive feedback from students, as well as coverage in print media and on social media platforms, we consider this expo to be a grand success.

Conference Overview

Dr. Ranjana Arya provided an overview of the conference, outlining the sessions and the central theme. Dr. Sudha Tiwari discussed the vision and mission of Shakti, along with the origins of the conference concept. Prof. Sudhir Bhadauria shared insights into VIBHA's vision of SHAKTI, while the academic themes of the conference were introduced by Dr. Ranjana Aggarwal.

Dr. Kalaiselvi's Speech

Dr. Kalaiselvi in her speech marked the achievement of women in science and mentioned that she will as DG-CSIR promote the percentage of women in science.

Souvenir Release

The souvenir, consisting of good wishes, useful articles by eminent personalities and abstract of the papers & posters on the same theme, was released in this inauguration by the esteemed guests. The vote of thanks was given by Leena Bavadekar at the end of the programme.
